AWANA Children's Ministry

AWANA was founded in 1950 and has clubs worldwide. Its purpose is to introduce children and youth to Christ. It has a club atmosphere, provides opportunities for making friends while having fun. AWANA lessons are based on Christ’s example, teaching positive values and building characters. Clubbers learn sportsmanship, how to be a team player, and how to respect each other.

  • Cubbies: Age 3 – Pre-K
  • Sparks: Kindergarten – Grade 2
  • T&T: Grade 3 – 5

Each AWANA night is divided into three sections:

  • Large Group Time: A great worship time with prayer and song. Clubbers, even our youngest, love to sing their favorite songs. Worship is followed by a lesson time, where God’s word is applied to their lives in ways they can understand.
  • Game Time: Awana games are typically based on team competition. They are fast paced, fun activities, thoroughly enjoyed by the clubbers. The format of Cubbie games differs to accommodate their age.
  • Handbook Time: This is a small group time when clubbers memorize the Bible verses. They work with their leaders to learn God’s word, understand the meaning, and apply it to their lives.

Time:

  • Every Friday evening 7:45pm – 9:00pm.
